Learning New Violin Genres

I've played the violin for many years, but have only played classical music during this time. In my project I tried to branch out more, and learn other styles of the violin. First I researched some of the different types of violin music, and then chose some that I found interesting/doable in my time frame, and picked a piece of music from each. The genres that I ended up picking were: American fiddle, bluegrass fiddle, folk music, jazz violin, rock, and country rock. To finish off my project, I performed a small concert where I showcased each piece/genre.
