About this project:
My project focuses on combatting hate, bullying, and discrimination within Canton High School. My main focus is advancing CHS as a No Place for Hate School, which is a official program that exists nationwide to promote anti-bullying sentiment in schools. To do this, my partner and I have been running the Student Equity Team after school on Wednesdays with the hope that this small committee will be one way we can promote kindness. Our main task is planning an assembly for second semester called the Names Can Really Hurt Us assembly that will really but a face to what bullying and discrimination really is, and what we're really looking to see is a change in the school environment so that everyone is truly welcome.
